Best Home Cleaning Services LLC (“we,” “us”) is a residential cleaning company in Loomis, California. This policy explains what information we collect through besthomecleaningca.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Quote and booking details you give us: your name, email, phone number, service address, and details about your home (size, rooms, floors, upgrades, notes, and scheduling preferences).
- Photos you choose to upload of your home, to help us quote accurately.
- Payment card details if you choose to save a card to hold an appointment. Your card is entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Website usage information collected automatically by cookies and similar tools, such as pages visited, the device and browser you use, and how you arrived at our site (for example, from a Google ad).
How we use it
- To prepare your quote, schedule and perform your cleaning, and contact you about it.
- If you choose to save a card, to hold your appointment and charge only as described in our Terms of Service.
- To show reviews, measure which advertising brings us customers, and improve our website.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Google: Calendar (appointments), Workspace/Sheets (storing quote requests), Analytics and Ads (website measurement), and Maps/Places (displaying our Google reviews).
- Stripe: payment processing and saving your card.
- Cloudinary: storing photos you upload.
- Vercel: hosting this website.
- Metricool: website visit analytics, to see which social media posts bring visitors to our site.
- Anthropic: Claude, the AI model behind our website chat assistant (see below).
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our team, or our customers.
Our website chat assistant
The chat bubble on our site is an AI assistant, not a person. It runs on Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, and answers from the pages of this website. Its answers can be wrong: your quote, the instant quote calculator and our Terms of Service come first.
- What is sent: each message you type is sent to Anthropic so Claude can write a reply, along with the earlier messages in the chat so it can follow the conversation. Before a message is sent, we try to remove phone numbers, email addresses, dates, street addresses, Social Security numbers and other long ID numbers automatically. This catches the common ways of writing them, not every one, and names and other details can still get through, so please don’t share personal information in the chat. The assistant isn’t designed to ask for it; for a quote, use our instant quote or call us.
- What Anthropic does with it: Anthropic does not use these messages to train its models by default, and it deletes them within 30 days. It can keep them longer when the law requires it, or for up to 2 years if its safety systems flag a message as breaking its usage policy. See Anthropic’s retention policy.
- What we keep: we do not store the text of your chat. For each reply, our server records only technical details, such as which AI model answered, how much text it processed, and whether a safety check replaced the reply. To prevent abuse, it keeps short-lived counts of messages per IP address in its working memory; these are never written to a file or database. Like every visit to our site, chat requests pass through our host, Vercel.
- In your browser: the conversation is kept in that tab so it follows you from page to page. It is cleared when you close the tab, and a chat older than 24 hours is cleared the next time a page loads.
We share chat messages only with Anthropic, to answer them. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies, and Metricool analytics, to understand how people use our site and whether our ads and social media posts work. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on and manage ad personalization at My Ad Center. Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
How long we keep it
We keep customer and quote records for as long as you are a customer and as long afterward as needed for taxes, accounting, and resolving disputes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing besthomecleaningllc@gmail.com or calling (916) 741-0983. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to your information to people who need it. No online service is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you believe your information has been compromised.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
